In November 2022, 29Metals completed a PFS evaluating the potential development of Cervantes to extend the operating life of the Scuddles underground mine. The PFS followed the commencement of underground drilling in 2013, along with an initial mining concept study and extensive drilling programs during 2019 – 2022.
29Metals is now focussed on:
- further Mineral Resource extension and conversion drilling to focus on further converting material currently in the inferred and indicated categories to additional indicated and also measured categories for Cervantes which is expected to support reporting of a production target and associated project economics;
- evaluating whole-of-site value opportunities, including timing for integrating Cervantes into the Golden Grove mine plan and milling rates; and
- evaluating Sustainability & ESG risks and opportunities, to identify and prioritise opportunities to enhance performance.
